If you had a steak knife in your torso, and your objective was <em>not</em> death, I think it'd be reasonable to assume that the best course of action would be to not move around all that much. So yes, if by "fall over" you mean "pine for the fjords". I don't think it's to make him dizzy at all. Watching the bull die is the worst part of the bullfight. And if a bull dies slowly, the crowd gets angry and whistles their discontent. A bull that collapses quickly gets much more applause. No one at the bullfight is there "to see the suffering".
