After arriving at 19:00, we had dinner and I was in bed by 20:45. With the darn timezone switch, I couldn’t sleep past about 4:30 the next morning. So I got up and played around with my brand new Canon EOS 40D camera. I took about 100 shots of my parents’ guest room, only one of which is worth sharing. The rest are of my folks’ four pets.

You know, I’m really fed up with having to stay up late, and then wait the entire two hours that it takes people to post the Super Bowl commercials to the internet. It’s been several years now, and I just can’t take it anymore. So this year, I’m going across the pond to watch all the clever beer and smart phone ads in real time with the rest of my beer-guzzling, Dorito-cramming, guacamole-finger-licking countrymen…
