I have a similar problem because I am subscribed to so many groups. You have to:

Click the "Send to group" button
Wait for all the groups to load (there will be no search)
Click the "Send to group" button again to close the dropdown
Click the "Send to group" button again to open it again (there will be a search box)

Since the groups are already loaded, it happens fast enough for the search box to be inserted.

Hi Erik!

Re your fabulous “Flickr Group List Search” script:do you know if there is something wrong with it or if something is interfering with it? I no longer get the ‘search option’, just the long list of groups.

Any help would be welcome!

It depends on how ~~promiscuous~~ starved for attention you are. Adding your photos to relevant groups will dramatically increase the number of viewers you get. Sometimes high viewership can be turned into money or friends.

I don’t belong to many groups on Flickr, but I can see that if you use it a lot it could get annoying to find them. Good for you for solving the problem.

Like you, almost all of the GM scripts I use are for Flickr. And like you, my involvement in Flickr’s groups has increased lately. I imagine this will be a highly useful addition. Thanks for doing it.
