Yesterday we invited some friends over for beer and hamburgers. I had built up the “I make great hamburgers” myth, so I was a little worried that I might not live up to the hype, but everyone left very pleased. And a little wowed, if I might say so. Good food and good people.

Now that’s a burger!

Obligatory oozage shot. Lightly toasted sesame seed bun and sauteed onions. Lettuce and tomato on some of them.

Marga made this fantastic dessert with flan, peaches, pineapple, ice cream, whipped cream, and caramel. Yummy!

Good eye, Neil. These were big burgers, as you can see, and some of our guests did, in fact, use a knife and fork. Not very American, but we allowed it.
