i believe that i&#039;m correct that this is the (superior) french style foosball table as opposed to the german style tables that seem to more prevalent here in the US. german foosball is basically slap-ball while french tables lend themselves to people with skill to catch and kick the ball. that flick of the wrist and the &#039;ting&#039; that the ball makes in the back of the goal is a magical one to me.
as a side point i own a rene pierre foosball table. it&#039;s one of my prides and joy (or is that pride and joys?). it&#039;s difficult finding parts for it, though.
