I suspect that if you surveyed random Americans, less than 20% would name hamburgers as being the most American food.

That’s Bailey’s behind a french press coffee maker.

Two trips to the gas station to buy ice.

Manolo is an excellent drink mixer, so whenever he’s at a party and we’ve had our coffee, someone brings him some glasses, a bowl of ice (see yellow bowl above), lemons, and all the fixin’s. He made me two gin & tonics since I wasn’t driving anywhere. Mmmmm….saphirey goodness.

I’m sorry, mondraussie, but that’s a matter of National Security and you just don’t have the clearance.

I regret not photographing an actual burger like I did last year, but I was so busy serving that I barely had time to snarf mine down. I’ll do better next year.
