It also seems reasonable that the daycare staff always sterilize the bottles.  But for feeding at home, the need has long since passed.</description>

I completely agree.  Maybe it makes me us bad parents, but Brad and I stopped sterilizing bottles long ago, with no ill effects (at least so far).</description>

<p>I completely agree.  Maybe it makes me us bad parents, but Brad and I stopped sterilizing bottles long ago, with no ill effects (at least so far).</p>

The treatment since you were still breastfeeding was to paint my breasts and the inside of your mouth with gentian violet. This turned both areas a lurid shade of purple. It seemed like an old folk remedy at the time but the pediatrician suggested it and it worked like a charm. Glad Nora&#039;s affliction was short-lived.</description>
