The weather around here has been spectacularly crappy lately. Here are a few photos that I took a few weeks ago when it was sunny. I’ve been unable to tie them to anything or even to each other, except through this “should be a band name” post title. So prepare yourself for a door, some lichen, and something very, very gay.

The way the sun was lighting this door caught my eye. This is from the part of town where people live in individual houses down at street level.

Playing with depth of field and some symbiotic controlled parasitism.

Groom and Groom

In case you had any doubts about the legal status of gay marriage in Spain, this couple live in a pastry shop window next to their heterosexual wedding cake topping counterparts. Pretty freaking adorable, if you ask me. And it’s just like gay men to snub ties and wear suits with t-shirts.

And there you have it: Gay Lichen Door. Be sure to keep an eye out for GLD’s debut album Symbiotic Controlled Parasitism Is Fabulous!, in stores soon.

  • Reminds me of something I saw in a Dutch cake shop once.

  • They look so cute together…but they better watch out. If the PP wins, their happiness will be shortlived. You know you’re going to get a lot of hits for this post, don’t you? You could do a follow up on the search terms that lead people here…it could get very interesting.

  • Tell me about it! I’m already the top hit when you google for gay parasitism fabulous.

Really, though, you don’t think this page could ever become any sort of authority on gay marriage in Spain, do you? Spaniards don’t tend to google in English that much, I find.

Well, we LGBT always stand in one line. “We do support each other to get more rights just as equal as others..” said on the forum of **** Anyway, we will get and learn more from it. Hope the world is beautiful for LGBT too.

  • LOL! That wedding cake duo is a keeper! And I love the attention to detail, with one groom wearing a two-button blazer while the other has on a three-button. πŸ˜€
