MargaMarga turns 20-years-old today…in hexadecimal, anyway. To a computer geek, it’s a nice round number. 100000 in binary or 25. 0x20 (hexadecimal notation) is the ASCII code for a space (” “) character. That’s why you see all those %20’s in web page urls sometimes. Those are spaces. The folks over at 0x20.org have a pretty good explanation.

Enjoy your hexadecimal twenties, love. You’ve got sixteen more years before your hexthirties. Don’t you agree that women’s ages should always be represented in hex?

This photo appeared on my camera over Christmas. I suspect the photographer was my sister-in-law, Belén.

  • So she’s…320?

  • Happy Birthday, Marga! You look absolutely spectacular for someone who is maybe 320 but might also be somewhere between the ages of 25 and 35. Or older than 10 but younger than 100. Whatever.

  • ¡Feliz cumpleaños! And let us know when she turns 1337.

Very smart of you, Erik, to skip right over octal.
