For reasons that my regular readers will understand, this blog will be down for the remainder of October. Hopefully there will be some spectacular Caribbean beach photos to show you in November.

  • Congrats on your upcoming wedding and can’t wait to hear/see all about it! Enhorabuena…

  • Good luck on your mission and Godspeed!

  • Congratulations in advance. I assume my Cuban is in the mail?

  • I’ll save one for ya, sg.

  • ¡Enhorabuena por adelantado! I hope everything goes perfectly, and I’ll be waiting to see all the pictures. See you in November.

  • Very disappointed, I have to say. I was hoping for live reporting on the day itself, and daily updates from your honeymoon.

  • Congratulations! I’m looking forward to hearing all about and seeing the pictures.

  • Alaskan Uncle Steve

Yes, after seeing your webcam aimed at the out-front construction long ago, I also would naturally assume that a far more important event like a honeymoon would have at least one live webcam present.

In all seriousity, I do wish that we could attend en-masse, adding to your party 5 more gringos plus me (you know I’d never pass for a gringo the way I habla…. :).

The present we mailed should arrive like today, but I’ve found that mailing services here are in error more often than on target when telling me when mail heading Outside will be delivered…. and this delivery is pretty much halfway around the globe – its pretty tough to mail anywhere farther.

Hope you two have a great event, get lots of good pictures that you’ll share, and don’t even look at a computer for awhile!

  • Yes, Steve, your present arrived yesterday while I was in Bilbao picking up my folks’ rental car. Luckily Marga was at home with all the yanks and could sign for it. Those of them that knew what it was got a kick out of your writing “Ulu” on the “what’s in the box?” sticker on the outside. I can’t wait to get home from the honeymoon and chop stuff. Thanks for the gift, Uncle Alaska!

Neil’s card came right on time, too.

  • I hope you guys have a lovely wedding and honeymoon! I send you heartfelt congratulations.

  • Heather

Erik have a FUN time on the big day, and I personally do not need a daily play by play of your honeymoon, I’m good!

Sorry I haven’t posted, things are nuts around here since I started working 🙂

Take care you 2 you will be in our thoughts!
